It's that time of year again! Darkest Day, a chocolate coconut porter released on the Winter Solstice each year, will be available on Saturday, December 21st and we're gonna have a little celebration! Starting at 4 PM, we'll be offering to "poke" your pint of Darkest Day. What does that mean?

"Beer poking involves heating a metal poker in a fire until it's glowing red and then plunging the tip into a glass of beer for a few seconds. The poker flash heats and instantly caramelizes the residual malt sugars abundant in certain types of beer."

Not Your Average Cooper, local metal forging artist and creator of the poker being used for our party, will be here selling some of his handmade creations. We'll also be hosting a raffle for a poker.

No ticket purchase necessary. Event is free and open to the public.
