Calling all dark beer lovers! On Saturday, February 8th Loveland Aleworks will be serving only dark beers >17° Lovibond on tap all day. The Lovibond scale is a system designed to standardize the color of beer. Stay tuned for a list of beers that will be on tap!

No ticket purchase necessary. Beer will be served by the glass while supplies last.

Join us for the second annual >17° Lovibond Dark Beer Tap Takeover next Saturday, February 8th! All ten of our taps will pour some sort of dark beer starting at 12! Beers will be available by the glass while supplies last.

What does Lovibond mean? The Lovibond scale is a system designed to standardize the color of beer, invented in 1893 by Joseph William Lovibond in Greenwich, England.

Now for the big reveal! Here are the ten beers that will be on tap:

1) Double Fudge Brownie Porter - 7%

2) Cinnamon Vanilla Pastry Stout - 11.4%

3) Caramel Latte Pastry Stout - 11.4%

4) Irish Coffee Stout (dry stout) - 7%

5) Loveland Night Dark Lager - 5%

6) LAZE Crows Oatmeal Stout - 6.2%

7) White Stout - 5.5%

8) Belgian Dark Strong Ale - 9.8%

9) Scottish Export - 5.7%

10) Black Cherry Belgian Dark Strong - 9.8%
